Product description
Especially for children, it is even more important to allow their feet to develop and function naturally. That is why XeroShoes now has a barefoot children's shoe with this XeroShoes Prio Grey Lime Kids.
This Prio for kids has everything you love about the adult version, plus a few extras
Features:
- More grip! The lugs on the FeelTrue® sole were placed further apart and made larger. This ensures better grip.
- Ergonomic fit: this is not simply a mini-model of the XeroShoes Prio for adults, but the fit was really adapted to children's feet.
- Even thinner: The sole was made slightly thinner to make it extra flexible, giving children the right amount of ground feel and protection.
- Unisex fit: Is it a boy's or a girl's shoe? Neither, the Prio for kids is made for both.
Of course, we kept all the good things about the Prio:
- Natural fit: A wide toe box allows the toes to spread and relax. In addition, the "XERO drop" sole (non-raised heel and low to the ground) ensures good posture, balance and mobility.
- Natural movement: The Prio is flexible enough to allow small feet to bend and move as feet should.
- Lightweight: Your kids might even forget they are wearing them
- Barefoot feel: remove the 3mm insole for a more "barefoot feel", or keep it in for a bit more protection
- 100% vegan materials: No animal products are used in the Prio
- Reflective straps: The middle strip in the heel and instep straps are highly reflective for evening and night-time wear
- Suitable for bare feet: Your child can wear the Prio with or without socks
Sizing:
We regularly get asked what size barefoot shoes you should choose. Unfortunately, the answer is not that simple. Every brand has its own size chart and even within different models of the same brand, there are often differences. Therefore, it is important to measure the length of your feet. Even for a children's shoe, we recommend that the shoes are 12 mm longer than the foot length. And yes, of course the child's foot is smaller than an adult's foot. Still, we recommend not going much smaller than this 12 mm excess. After all, with a child's foot, you have to allow for a little growth margin.
Unfortunately, wrong/old size charts also circulate on the internet. That is why we measure the length of the insole ourselves and add it to the size chart. This way, you can determine your ideal size.
