The Lems Boulder Boot is one of the most famous models from Lems. But did you know that this is not 1 shoe but a complete family?
In their search for a lightweight, minimalist (hiking) shoe, Lems developed the original Boulder Boot. A high hiking shoe made of nylon, with a wide fit and zero-drop sole. For some, this shoe may not be barefoot enough (read: the sole is 9mm thick). But thanks to its light weight and flexible sole, this shoe can still appeal to a lot of people.
The second step was the Lems Boulder Boot Leather. The same concept, the same wide fit, but in a leather version. The result was a super cool unisex boot.
At the end of 2019, a third model was added. And this became the absolute top model: the Lems Boulder Boot Waterproof. This upgrade comes standard with oiled (and therefore extra water-repellent) leather and a 100% waterproof membrane on the inside. Of course, the comfort of the original model was preserved. Best of all: it remains an affordable shoe!
And finally, at the end of 2020, two more babies were added: the Lems Boulder Boot Mid (vegan) and Boulder Boot Mid Leather. These two models are slightly lower (to just at the ankle), but otherwise stay true to the original model. Moreover, these are the first Lems models of which the (removable) insole is covered with a thin layer (0.8mm) of cork which ensures an even more pleasant foot climate inside the shoe.
As mentioned earlier, all models of the Boulder Boot have a wide fit. This also makes this shoe very suitable to be worn with Correct Toes.
Would you like to buy the Lems Boulder Boot? In Belgium and the Netherlands, these shoes are exclusively available at IEDEREEN LOOPT. Attention: to determine the right size, it's best to measure your feet. The insole of your new Lems boot should ideally be 7 to 12mm longer than your foot.
