The Plus12 is an easy way to measure the length of your feet. But the number you read on the Plus12 is not the length of your feet. The number the Plus12 displays is the appropriate inside size of your shoe: the length of your foot + 12 millimetres. So you know exactly which shoes to choose.
How does the Plus12 work? To measure the foot : Place the foot (without shoes!) on the Plus12. Make sure both feet are next to each other and the foot is loaded! Read the length on the Plus12. This can be done both at the front and the back of the Plus12. The Plus12 automatically adds 12 mm to the length. Note the length in mm (= length of the foot + 12 mm).To measure the shoe size : Place the Plus12 in the shoe and slide it out until it touches the front of the shoe. Note the length in mm*.Does the shoe fit? Shoes that fit well should have an inside length that is at least 12mm longer than the foot. If the plus12 foot size equals the shoe size, the shoe fits. *Please note that due to the position of the Plus12, this may vary slightly
If you come to our shop, we can measure your feet with the Plus12 base . This is a kind of base plate in which the Plus12 is placed. Practical for in the shop, but a bit too big for a quick measurement of your feet at home.
The Plus12 was developed by Austrian scientists and produced in Germany.
