The Shamma Sandals Elite Ibex Ultragrip have the thickest sole of all Shamma Sandals, but also offer the most grip. What makes the Ibex soles so special is the combination of the Vibram® Zegama (6mm) and the Vibram Morflex (6mm) sole:

• Vibram® Zegama is an individually moulded rubber sole that uses Vibram's MegaGrip sole compound. Known for its high durability and good grip in wet conditions, the Vibram® Zegama sole has an aggressive and open tread pattern. The deep 4 mm tread is perfect for maximum traction on loose dirt, rocks and mud.
• The Vibram® Morflex ensures a firm but comfortable fit.

Although they are on the thicker side (total thickness 13 mm), you will be surprised how flexible the Ibex are, following the movements of your feet with ease. The Ibex soles have everything you need for adventure!

Thanks to the Ultra Lacing System, your foot is firmly fixed to the leather footbed. For extra fixation of the Shamma Elite Ibex Ultragrip while running or hiking, use the optional Shamma PowerStraps.

Fitting:

The length of the sole is indicated for each size. For an optimal fit, only about 5 mm excess is needed in front of and behind your foot.
