Product description
The Vivobarefoot Tracker Forest ESC (Obsidian) is slightly different from the traditional offroad hiking shoe. The Tracker Forest ESC does not have a classic waterproof membrane, but instead focuses on the combination of breathability and weather resistance.
This is achieved by using a leather exterior (treated with Renapur Leather Balsam for extra water repellency) in combination with a sandwish mesh lining. This combination allows the leather to retain its natural water repellent properties and allows your feet to breathe with every step for an unparalleled experience. Treat the leather regularly to maintain the water repellency.
Features:
- Leather upper with sandwich mesh lining: keeps moisture away from your skin and evacuates it through the pores of the leather so your feet can breathe. Perfect for cold, warm and wet weather.
- Michelin© ESC sole: provides extreme traction using high performance rubber and aggressive off trail lug design. This ensures ultimate grip in the most challenging environments. At 2.5mm thick (+7mm studs), this sole is designed to maximise ground feel and grip in the most demanding environments.
Sizing:
We are often asked what size barefoot shoes you should choose. Unfortunately the answer is not that simple. Each brand has its own size chart and even within different models of the same brand there are often differences. Therefore it is important that you measure the length of your feet. A minimalist shoe is at least 8, but preferably 12mm longer than your foot length.
Unfortunately, wrong/old measurement tables circulate on the internet. Therefore, we measure the length of the insole ourselves and add it to the size chart. This way you can determine your ideal size.
