    The Vivobarefoot Addis Wyn Kids is a minimalist classic girls' shoe, but in a barefoot version. It is a simple, comfortable slip-on designed for feet (and minds) to thrive in the classroom, on the playground and beyond.

    Size chart

    The Vivobarefoot Addis Wyn Obsidian is a barefoot pull-on with Velcro straps, made of soft Wild Hide leather for extra playtime fun and with a thin but durable sole to grow strong feet and stimulate the senses all day long. These shoes are handmade in Ethiopia to empower local makers and communities. (Soul of Africa project)

    The Addis outsole is an ergonomic, hand-stitched sole (thickness 4 mm) with a heel wrap and a slight undulation that promotes your natural foot roll-off and foot flexibility. This sole is visually characterised by its footprint design, inspired by the Laetoli footprints: the oldest preserved human footprints from around 3.7 million years ago.

    Sizing:

    We are often asked what size barefoot shoes you should choose. Unfortunately the answer is not that simple. Each brand has its own size chart and even within different models of the same brand there are often differences. Therefore it is important that you measure the length of your feet. A minimalist shoe is at least 8, but preferably 12mm longer than your foot length. 

    Unfortunately, wrong/old measurement tables circulate on the internet. Therefore, we measure the length of the insole ourselves and add it to the size chart. This way you can determine your ideal size.
