The shoes we offer provide as little support as possible to the foot . This means that the body itself must work actively . And this can be used to treat or prevent many foot complaints. Thanks to the wide fit, these shoes are also extremely suitable for people with, for example, a hallux valgus.
Where does the name IEDEREEN LOOPT come from? Walking and hiking are two of the most accessible sports/activities in the world. Everyone can do it. Or so most people think. Despite modern technologies in the shoe world, the number of injuries and physical problems in this group increases every year. Air cushions, cushioning, suspension, carbon plates, (anti)pronation support. Over the past 50 years, it has been one hype after another. But unfortunately, the number of injuries continues to rise. This is because we are ignoring the essence: humans are naturally made to walk. So let's use what we have been given instead of offering unnecessary support (which often weakens the body itself).
At IEDEREEN LOOPT it is not our goal to get everyone running effectively. Part of our audience are of course athletes, but many more customers have physical problems for which they have often already tried numerous solutions. For these people, being able to function and move daily without pain is often a goal in itself. In that respect, you cannot always interpret walking as running, but also as movement in general.
