The Vibram Fivefingers Spyridon EVO Black (men) is the improved successor to the original Vibram Fivefingers V-Trail . Like the V-trail, this Vibram Fivefingers Spyridon EVO is equipped with 3D Cocoon: a thin and flexible mesh embedded in the sole. This distributes the pressure (from stones in the ground, for example) a little more across the entire sole. So you keep the thin flexible sole, but you get an extra layer of protection against rough ground. In addition, the Megagrip sole with its many studs on the sole provides extra grip in muddy and wet conditions.
A big step forward is the supple upper of this Spyridon EVO. The upper feels like a supple stocking and will therefore not restrict your foot anywhere and prevents pressure points. The closure is done with a simple Velcro and forms a basic but solid system.
